Meet Monchito
Monchito is Modern Day Pets’ resident cat — curious, affectionate, and very much an introvert. He prefers familiar spaces, calm routines, and plenty of time to inspect anything new before deciding it is safe.
His personality helps shape how we think about cat products and everyday routines, especially carriers, hiding spaces, scratching areas, enrichment, travel, and other situations where comfort and stress levels really matter.
Not every product featured on Modern Day Pets is personally used by Monchito. When something has been observed or used with him, we will say so clearly. Otherwise, our recommendations are based on product research, specifications, suitability, and the needs of different cats and households.
